Meet Mel – owner of Creative

Confections.

Hi, I’m Mel Quinn, I’m 28, a qualified chef and mum to a beautiful toddler.

Creative Confections started out as a side gig, baking cakes and other goodies as a hobby outside of my regular jobs as a Chef and teacher’s aid.

Since having my daughter in October 2020, I decided it was time to turn my hobby into a living, so I could do what I was passionate about, from home, and still be able to spend time with my little girl.

I am passionate about creating one of a kind delicacies that taste as good as they look. I bake from scratch and do all my own decorating.

I have skills in a variety of savoury and sweet styles, but my main interest is in the sweet category. I have competed in the Clubs NSW Chef’s table 3 times with my desserts being noted as a highlight.
